The Pultneyville Mariners Club is a great home base to sea kayak on Lake Ontario. Its’ sandy open beach and protected harbor offer ideal learning grounds for paddlers to develop both novice and advanced touring skills. The constant changing lake conditions can provide challenging whitecap waves and surf as well as gorgeous, calm as glass, serine sunsets for your enjoyment.

Too hot? Take a refreshing dip. Too cold? Run in for a soothing hot shower. Hungry? Fire up the outside grill or use the kitchen in the pavilion. Want to spend a campfire night here? Camp out on the grounds without going far from home. Need to unwind? Jump in your sea kayak and paddle like heck to the outer channel marker buoy and back. It’s guaranteed to put those work related tensions on the back burner. Hey, we got it all right here. Check it out at PMC.

To help get your sea kayaking adventures off on a safe learning journey, the Pultneyville Mariners is offering a series of free sea kayaking workshops in 2007 for its members and guests. It’s headed by club-member Harry Weidman claiming to be the self-appointed PMI Director of Kayak Fun. He is a certified American Canoe Association Open Water Kayak Instructor with 15 years of experience and tall sea stories.
