Sailing at the Pultneyville Mariners Club

Founded in the 1950s for fleets of Sunfish, the Mariners Club has grown to accommodate a mix of board boats (Sunfish, Lasers, Force 5s and Windsurfers), catamarans (Hobie Cats, Prindles, and Nacras), a variety of day sailers (up to 22 ft. length – Catalinas, McGregors, and Mirage 5.5’s), and kayaks and canoes.

Beginning in May, sailboats are tuned and shortly thereafter the racing series begins and runs through September. Special events are scheduled throughout the season, organized by our Fleet Captains and our Social Committee. In addition to club-only races, The Pultneyville Mariners Club and the Pultneyville Yacht Club take part in combined events.

Not all members are racers, but all are people who love being out on the water and sharing summer fun on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario.
